Today Maya spent the afternoon making this hat out of leaves. Yes, it's time for her to go back to school.

Ice Cream Fries

Tonight Maya cleaned out the car so for a reward we took the girls to McDonalds for a treat. Maya got an ice cream cone and Annah fries, and together they dipped the fries in the ice cream for what I guess would be called "ice cream fries."

Walk

Took the girls for a walk to the service station tonight to pick up our car and as we were walking Maya was doing a lot of talking. I noticed after about twenty minutes of her carrying on that almost everything she talked about had something to do with what she had seen on t.v. - very little else. At one point along the way she noticed a dog and made some remark about how it look just like the dog from the Bush's Baked Beans commercial... That's when I told her that she needs to make some serious changes concerning her lifestyle.

Had to get some work done on my guitar in Minneapolis yesterday afternoon so Maya and I went for a walk around town in the meantime. Here Maya is outside the Art Institute.

Strawberries & Whip Cream

The girls were sitting in the lawn eating strawberries and whip cream - truth be told, more whip cream than strawberries

Toothless

In the last month Maya has lost three teeth. Pretty soon she is going to have start eating through a straw.

Giraffe

Maya is standing next to a stuffed giraffe and the reason is that it's not easy coming up with things to put on this blog on a consistent basis. Were I to take a picture of her simply standing in front of blank wall you might be left wondering, "Hey, what's the point of this picture? Where is she? What's she doing?" However, if I include a giraffe it's now, "Oh look, a picture of Maya and a giraffe," and my work is done.

The Forecast - it's all pretty bleak

This summer has been unpleasant - here is this week's forecast, which looks amazingly similar to every previous forecast since the middle of June. It's been like living in Hell, though I can't imagine Hell being this humid.
