Maya got her desk all cleaned up tonight so she has a good place to study. She even sharpened all her pencils because like her grandma says, a sharp pencil is the sign of a sharp mind.
I'm so glad my words of wisdom are remembered. I don't know how to translate them so they fit computers. I'll have to think about it. Maybe you can't have a sharp mind using a computer.
When I was teaching I always cleaned my desk when I was procrastinating checking papers. Maybe Maya was using that tactic to put off dong homework?????
